Hello everyone
My name is Enho, and I trade forex for profit.
I started trading at the age of 21, without any expectations or prior experiences, trading has just been a side hobby for me while i pursued my other careers in art.
However, through years of learning, failing and to my own surprise, trading has become the most persistent venture i have ever done.
I began with stock trading, then tried options, futures and finally set my hands on forex in 2011
I now trade exclusively with Forex and have learned so much from many great mentors, however, have also been scammed by many bad people.
Forex market is fun and lucrative, but it is also a market with a lot of liars.
I opened this blog to simply journal my trades, thoughts and ideas in trading.
My only wish is to sincerely and honestly show you my journey in trading, and hope you can learn something from it.
English is not my first language and I'm not good at grammars, so please bear with me.
If you have any questions, feel free to ask.
Have fun trading!
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
As mentioned previously, I started trading back in 2006 while i was 21 years old. However, I was not active and soon lost interest because of losing and busy schools. In 2009, I graduated and started trading again to make some extra income, I joined many programs and courses from stocks, options to finally trade forex in 2011.
I started 2009 with a $50,000 fund and by 2010, I have accumulated it to $250,000 all while i was in a full-time acting school. However, it was purely because the economic cycle after the financial crisis, little did i know, I soon lost a big chunk of that and learned a hard lesson of risk in trading.
In 2011, I started my journey in forex trading and was really good at it in comparison to stocks and options, soon I was given a fund by family members and started trading in 2012. In 3 months time, I made over 50% of return, and again, soon I realized I was overexposed and risky trading and by beginning of 2013, I lost yet again and was almost defeated psychologically.
I stopped trading a whole year and just keep learning, reflecting and seeking mentorships.
Finally I started again in 2014 and reached my goal of becoming a consistent trader.
I've learned the correct attitude in trading and worked with my strength while minimized my weakness.
My goal nowadays is to make 20% - 30% return every year with 10-15% drawdown and never risk more than 1%-2% in overall exposures; that means if I have 2 trades, each trades will have 1% or less. If I have 4 trades, each trades will have 0.5% or less. My style of trading might be conservative for some, might be risky for some, but it was just right for me.
All the performances and blog posts results were based on a fund of $100,000.
My 2014 return was 16%, and my 2015 return was 5% with drawdown of less than 20% in both years.
I'm slowly reaching my goal of 20% return and 10% drawdown or less.
I trade with Interactive Brokers and cannot link my performance to Myfxbook, which is a very popular trade performance track record website.
I will find a way to be more transparent in the future as I think it is very important.
As for now, please enjoy my blog posts and if you have any questions, feel free to ask.
