Both Erica and my parents are big on real estate; in fact, 𝐈 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐤 𝐦𝐨𝐬𝐭 𝐀𝐬𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐬 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐥 𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐢𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠. 🏠
I started as a trader and never understood the appeal of real estate. For me, it’s so slow, tedious, and not exciting! 😴

Of course, who likes it? 🙄 We all want to look good, feel good, and with our splendid lives on social media platforms, we can only share the good times and beautiful images, right? 😜 I think it’s essential to acknowledge your losses if you want to become a successful trader/investor. Sure, some people might frown on you or even stop working with you, but 𝐈 𝐚𝐥𝐰𝐚𝐲𝐬 𝐣𝐮𝐝𝐠𝐞 𝐚 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧’𝐬 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐡𝐨𝐰 𝐡𝐞/𝐬𝐡𝐞 𝐝𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐬 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐥𝐨𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐞𝐭𝐛𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐞. 😤 My biggest losses in the forex market were back in 2012! 😖 𝐑𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐥 𝐢𝐬 𝐚 𝐭𝐨𝐮𝐜𝐡𝐲 𝐬𝐮𝐛𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭.
It often gets emotional and ends up badly where one party accuses the other being greedy, and the others being naive. It's tough to reach any mutual respect nowadays as the world becomes more polarizing. I remembered the first time I opened an account to buy mutual funds at my local bank. 😊
I went there to open an investment account so that I can buy stocks, but soon, the financial planner asked me to fill out the "personal profile test" and deemed that I was much suitable to invest in mutual funds. 🙄 "𝘚𝘵𝘰𝘤𝘬 𝘪𝘴 𝘸𝘢𝘺 𝘵𝘰𝘰 𝘳𝘪𝘴𝘬𝘺! 𝘠𝘰𝘶 𝘥𝘰𝘯'𝘵 𝘮𝘢𝘫𝘰𝘳 𝘪𝘯 𝘧𝘪𝘯𝘢𝘯𝘤𝘦, 𝘥𝘰 𝘺𝘰𝘶?" 🙁 |
