So last Christmas, I finally decided to give myself an Apple Watch. ✌️ It took me so long to get it, in fact, it took me 5 generations….(I meant the watch series) 😂 I’ve always been a big Apple fan, started using Apple products before we even had an official Apple Store in Toronto. I remembered how I used to go to the dealer shops with my mom (because she funded me 😜) and spent a fortune on the products. Now a decade later, Apple Stores are everywhere, and their products become so accessible both economically and availabilities. Sure, Apple Products are still expensive in comparison with others but compare to what it used to be, Apple products have become so much cheaper (and so much better). 😄 And the result? I’m now surrounded by Apple from head to toe!!! 😳 The biggest reason I was never keen to have Apple Watch was that I’m a big fan of regular watches, from Japanese Made to Swiss, even though we can now see time everywhere, I still love to wear watches, and I’m obsessed with the timekeeping. 🤓 Another reason is that I thought having an Apple Watch will keep me on 24/7 - which I definitely DO NOT want to be! 🤭 But after I bought my MacBook last year and asked the Genius his favorite Apple Products, to my surprise, it’s not iPhone, iPad or MacBook, it’s the Apple Watch! He told me how the watch helped him lose 30 pounds of weight, being productive and is such an excellent asset for salespeople, and how he used to be a big fan of mechanical watches and now he couldn’t go back to wear them anymore - and I got sold right there! 🤑 I’ve decided to give it a try, after all, yes, it’s not cheap, but in comparison to the mechanical watch such as Rolex, Apple Watch is so much more affordable (and offer so many functions) 😄 After watching so many smartwatch review videos on youtube, I found out this video which I think is the most balanced review between Apple Watch V.S Regular Watch. (Yes, to my surprise, a lot of people are thinking about the same comparison, and this guy is a big Rolex lover) Aside from the Health & Fitness apps, which are always the big staples for smartwatches, I love my Apple watch because of all the other functions. In conclusion, it’s a fantastic watch to have if you: Love the timekeeping, timer, stopwatch and is a big fan of Productivities Tools with methods such as Pomodoro - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pomodoro_Technique Love the digital To-Do Apps, Routine Apps, Calendars, etc. Are a big Audio person - love audiobooks, podcasts, voice commands, recording notes and talking to Siri. Love to stay connected (I’m not…but anyway, it’s an added on feature) And of course, if you love the Health and Fitness apps, then yes, definitely go for it! But what’s that leave with the mechanical watch? Well, as I said, this YouTuber sums up very well in this short video - https://youtu.be/-p_-R7Rc0Lo Happy Monday 😁
