I started as a technical trader, and the reason was that I didn’t even know fundamental analysis exists!
Whenever I went online and searched “𝘏𝘰𝘸 𝘵𝘰 𝘵𝘳𝘢𝘥𝘦 𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘦𝘹, 𝘴𝘵𝘰𝘤𝘬𝘴, 𝘦𝘵𝘤.”, the majority of trading materials were always focusing on the technical analysis, and that was almost 20 years ago. 😲 Still, most trading materials today are focusing on technical analysis. 🧐 The simple reason why technical analysis is so prevailing is that it’s just way much “sexier”…😍 What I meant is that 𝐝𝐫𝐚𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐬𝐮𝐜𝐡 𝐚𝐧 𝐢𝐧𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐡𝐮𝐦𝐚𝐧 𝐛𝐞𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬, 𝐢𝐭’𝐬 𝐟𝐮𝐧, 𝐢𝐭’𝐬 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐮𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐢𝐭’𝐬 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐝. 👶 On the contrary, fundamental analysis is so dried, boring, and much difficult to grasp the concept! 🤓 It took me almost one year to learn the fundamental analysis and another year to apply it successfully on my trade, and I’m still learning to this day. 🤔 Unless you’re a financial student or majored in the economy in university, fundamental analysis is not that easily accessible by the public. 🙀 However, I’m glad I have this knowledge under my belt now because trading is such a difficult game, and the market is so dynamic. Sure, I have made money before with technical analysis only. However, I was always insecure about my “strategy” and always felt inadequate about my knowledge, especially when people asked me, “𝘖𝘩, 𝘺𝘰𝘶’𝘳𝘦 𝘢 𝘤𝘶𝘳𝘳𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘺 𝘵𝘳𝘢𝘥𝘦𝘳? 𝘞𝘩𝘺 𝘪𝘴 𝘊𝘈𝘋 𝘬𝘦𝘦𝘱 𝘨𝘰𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘶𝘱?” I’d always stuttered with “𝘩𝘮𝘮… 𝘣𝘦𝘤𝘢𝘶𝘴𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘤𝘩𝘢𝘳𝘵? 𝘔𝘺 𝘤𝘢𝘯𝘥𝘭𝘦𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘤𝘬𝘴?” 😐 Nowadays, I have all the tools I need to trade efficiently, not only in the currency market, but to understand the economy as a whole. 😁 And yes, it’s a great feeling to have in-depth knowledge, and most importantly, why not use all the tools that are available to you to make you a better trader? 😤 𝐑𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫, 𝐰𝐞’𝐫𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐠𝐚𝐦𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐦𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐲, 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚 𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞 𝐚𝐬 𝐚 𝐝𝐞𝐛𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐦!!! 😆 👇 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬, 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐝𝐨 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐮𝐬𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐲𝐳𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐞𝐭?
