When I first started trading, making a full-time income out of trading was never my goal - because I simply do not want a full-time job, and I thought making a full-time living requires a full-time schedule… So I only aimed to make a part-time income with a part-time schedule so that I could still act and do other things, and the result was great! However, I became greedy and decided to make more - by trading more, working longer hours, and taking more risks!!!! And not only did I not make a full-time living….I actually blew up my account… The same thing happened over and over again; I’d traded part-time and still focused on my life and made a good profit - and then switched to full-time, only to blow up accounts…. WHY???? I was mad, angry and frustrated because I thought more works = more results, and most importantly, I thought that wanting to make more will give me more, just like the law of attraction… Not quite! After I took trading psychology and examined myself thoroughly, I’ve realized that - The stress of HAVING TO make a living with trading = emotional decisions in the market = Overtrading with bigger risks! Trading is a very unique game because you do not get paid hourly, and your result does not equal the number of your trades. Unlike sales, every prospect is a potential client; in trading, it is NOT a number’s game!!!! Every trade is a possible LOSS that takes away your capital! The more you trade = the higher the trading costs & exposures = the lower the profit! So I stop treating “trading” as a full-time job, it’s also not a part-time job; it is just NOT a job, but more of an investment. The steps of trading are -
The money will make money in the market while you’re not even there, and let it work out for you! Remember, it’s not a job!
